PROJECT PURPOSE

The purpose of this project is to enable preschool and primary school students to discover nature, produce using their creativity and gain sustainable life skills. While encouraging children to participate in active learning processes in different areas such as science, art and technology, it also helps them gain awareness of nature and the environment.

PROJECT SUBJECT SCOPE

This project includes activities that increase children’s environmental awareness and encourage them to become nature-friendly individuals.

Explore: To ensure that children get to know the environment through nature observations, experiments, interactive games and expeditions.
Produce: To develop creative projects with recyclable materials, to create new products with natural materials (soap making, frames etc.)
Sustain: To teach nature-friendly practices to children to gain sustainable life habits (water and energy saving, waste management, recycling, social assistance etc.)

PROJECT OUTPUTS

To carry out activities that increase children’s interest and curiosity in nature.
To produce creative projects that develop recycling and sustainability awareness.
Developing problem-solving and innovative thinking skills with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) focused activities.
Organizing workshops that increase children’s manual skills and group work skills.
Preparing guide materials so that they can integrate sustainable living practices into their daily lives.
Thanks to this project, children will experience the processes of discovery, production and sustainable living and grow up as individuals who are sensitive to nature and the environment.
